Trends interface in SciMaps with sample research data
Actual SciMaps interface with sample data. Available records and results depend on your sources and configured services.

What you need

Selected project sources with publication-year metadata.

How to use it

  1. Select sources in a project.
  2. Choose Trends in Bibliometrics.
  3. Compare the available time summaries and inspect their scope.

Interpretation and limitations

Citation totals describe papers published in each year, not citations received during that calendar year. Papers without a valid publication year are omitted. Counts are collection-specific and depend on available metadata. Results describe the selected sources and available metadata; they do not represent all research in a field.
