Interpretation and limitations

Each paper counts once for every country found in its affiliations, so country shares can add up to more than 100%. Missing affiliation data reduces coverage. These counts describe the selected collection and do not establish a global country ranking. Results describe the selected sources and available metadata; they do not represent all research in a field.
